Field work design and implementation
A full-time Research Assistant with the University of Canterbury’s Marine Ecology Research Group, Paul has nine years of research experience in nearshore and intertidal ecology.
Paul’s work at EOS involves studying the intertidal fauna of estuaries, implementing field programmes, processing samples, and identifying species. “I’m really enjoying the lab facilities on offer at EOS and the fact that I have a chance to get out and scrabble in the mud!”
Interesting Titbit
When not at work, Paul can be found relaxing in the sun at the beach with the following: girlfriend, dogs, friends, surf, and beer. Sometimes in that order.
