EOS Ecology is excited to announce that they are expanding their operations by opening an office in Palmerston North in September this year.
Managing Director Erron Henderson said that the move was a natural progression for the business, which already offered its range of aquatic science and visual communication services to several North Island clients.
“It will be great to be closer to our North Island customers, which include six of the North Island’s regional councils.
Palmerston North is a logical choice as it’s a hub for science, an important service centre for the lower North Island, and a good central location to access a lot of the North Island with relative ease.”
“We will have people in place by 1 September but in the meantime our full spectrum of services are still available via our Christchurch head office,” said Erron.
Freshwater Scientist Alex James will head up the Palmerston North office. Alex has been a key member of the EOS Ecology team for five years and is now looking forward to returning to the Manawatu where he spent seven years undertaking post-graduate study and commercial work.
“I’m looking forward to catching up personally with all our contacts and clients in and around the region, and perhaps even taking some time to repeat my memorable 150 km Canadian canoe trip down the mighty Whanganui River!”
