Service & Supply Agreements

A service and supply agreement is a medium- to long-term arrangement between two parties, where one provides ongoing support or services as needed, without requiring a formal contract for each engagement. We are happy to engage in this style of agreement to make supporting our clients as easy as possible.

Our skilled GIS team could offer a set number of service hours over an agreed period, to be utilized on an as-needed basis. This approach streamlines the process, enabling flexible and timely GIS support for projects or issues as they arise, without the need to draft new contracts for each request.

The agreement would define the scope of services, the number of available hours, and the types of GIS support your team could access (e.g., data management, analytics, visualisation). It would also establish clear terms for tracking and billing hours, ensuring transparency for both parties. This arrangement increases efficiency, reduces administrative burdens, and fosters a stronger working relationship by offering consistent, reliable GIS support throughout the agreement period.

Service and supply agreements are ideal when you know there is work coming up that you will need extra skills or resource for, but you don’t know exactly what that will look like or how much assistance or support you’ll need.

For these agreements, only the hours used are billed – i.e., if you have an agreement to access up to 200 hours over 3 months, but only use 120 hours, you only get billed for 120 hours.
